Is blue light bad?

Blue light is a naturally occurring light that our body needs to function. The blue light we get from the sun is what helps our bodies know when we should go to sleep, and when we should wake up in the morning. It is one of the primary elements that help regulate the circadian rhythm (the body’s sleep cycle).

While some blue light is necessary for our body to function properly, too much blue light may cause problems like eye strain, eye fatigue, headaches, disrupted sleep, and even insomnia.

In more extreme cases, some studies have found that too much blue lights can affect our mental health.
